Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts I ran across this website today that is fascinating. It has photos of old NT manuscripts. It's not just a few photos here and there but there are photos of the entire manuscript (page after page).

This one should put you to the right page. http://www.csntm.org/Manuscripts.aspx Click View Images on the right hand side of the chart. It will direct you to a page that is nothing but a list of the photos. At the bottom there should be a link to the Scripture Index for that manuscript that will tell you what photo to look on for a particular scripture. If you go to the main page (www.csntm.org) you can click on the Manuscripts link on the top to get to the page I linked to above.

Re: Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts Here is a few links directly to the manuscripts.
Codex Sinaiticus is an important majuscule manuscript from the 4th century. The images posted here are of the New Testament, the Epistle of Barnabas, and the Shepherd of Hermas, from the full-sized black and white facsimile of the manuscript produced in 1911 by Kirsopp Lake and Clarendon Press. Codex Alexandrinus is an important majuscule manuscript from the 5th century. The images posted here are those of the fourth volume (NT and Clementine epistles) of the full-sized black and white facsimile of the manuscript, produced in 1879-83 by the British Library. GA 2346 is a 10th-11th century Gospels minuscule manuscript with commentary, from Constantinople. Four Gospels with Commentary. Written on parchment, it has 273 leaves, 11.75 x 8.5 inches per leaf (slightly larger than standard American typing paper). Single column, 13 to 20 lines per column; the commentary is written in three margins in the same hand.

Re: Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts Thanks
I am not very good with the old uncial manuscripts but it is very interesting all the same.

Re: Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts Matt Steed sent me a URL regarding the Sinai Codex. It is incomplete but there is enough of Mark and Luke to note something which may be significant.
Mark 16:1-8 You should see 4 columns. Columns 1 and 2 and the first 8 verses of Mark and column 3 and 4 the beginning of Luke's gospel. The Codex Sinaiticus represents the Western text which omits the closing verses of Mark 16 but if you look at this you will see that there is just enough room for those final verses. Was this a coincidence or a scribe who hadn't decided whether or not to include them?

Was this a coincidence or a scribe who hadn't decided whether or not to include them? If that is true then we can reason that the first copy would have contained the text. I'm sure the verse does not sit well with the monastic lifestyle.
