Friends of Malawi aims to co-ordinate and direct support for its associated missionaries in Malawi as well as offering help and advise on the running of the work. This includes handling of funds, famine relief, medical advice for personnel and support for mission clinic, ministry support for bible teaching events, short term workers, advise to visitors and potential long term workers, and dissemination of up to date information via its web site and literature
Quite a while ago now I was invited to do a devotional series on Sermonindex. I decided to work my way through the making of a praying man; Abraham. The completed series came to 62 items. I hope to get this into book form at some time in the not too distant future.
The invitation also requested that I included some basic Christian elements for people who were beginning to get to grips with their faith, so this is not just a biography of Abraham. Pop in and see if it to your taste.
In these thousands of audio files I find not just truth, but the Spirit of Truth continuing to breathe life into the old but never old-fashioned gospel. It is a 21st century experience of the `mystical fellowship of the saints' where we can drink deep from a rich variety of evangelical preaching. For preachers themselves, it provides the priceless gift of a balance of teaching from many streams within the evangelical family. It is a veritable treasure-house of evangelical preaching to challenge the heart and enlighten the understanding.
